Last week I was busy with watching Vikings TV series which I’ve discovered just recently. It’s a show on History about Ragnar Lothbrok, well-known Norse ruler from the Vikings Age, his family and his “career” progressing from farmer to king and his conquests and explorations of the West (particularly England).

I am not fan of comparing shows as I’m just glad I can watch something that is interesting me but I find Vikings more enjoyable than Game of Thrones (TV series, not books). Maybe it has to do something with Vikings being just original show and not being adapted from books. Main characters in Vikings are better developed than those in Game of Thrones (I know this is because former has more characters). There is more action than drama. Some people argue that show would be more popular/exciting if it was similar to Game of Thrones in regards of displaying higher level of nudity. They may be right, but I’m perfectly fine with it the way it is.

And the actor who portrays Ragnar is doing his job very well. Me and lot of other people have noticed that in some episodes he has a very little to say but his body language speaks for itself.
