In this post I’m ranking last 6 default themes shipped by WordPress and it is design-wise not feature-wise. Order is from best to not so best Do you agree?

The first one (2012) is just perfect for me, for all the others I created a child theme and made few style tweaks. 2012 and 2013 apart from good design also have great choice of fonts – Open Sans and Source Sans Pro respectively. This matters to me because they both have support for non-english characters in my native language (latin-ext – š, č, ž)
